i love this picture. paxton was about 3 and wyatt about 1. they are so different, yet so much alike. they love doing everything together. paxton loves to draw, look at books, play video games and make things. wyatt loves to be outside playing on his scooter, he is always the first to help me bake, he likes to do anything the big kids are doing. i can't believe how much they have grown right before my eyes. it amazes me that paxton is going to be in kindergarten this next year (wyatt starts pre-school). everybody asks me if i am going to cry when i send pax off to his first day of school. i don't think that i will. he is so excited and ready to go that how can i be upset or sad. he is growing up....i might as well embrace it! i love that my two boys are such good little buddies. they definatly have their moments when i want to konk their little heads together, but they are good boys and i am so blessed to be their mom!

my sis-in-law christina decided to do such a noble and selfless act. she cut off 12 inches of hair and donated it to locks of love. this is the second time that christina has done this. i think that it is so cool that a 12 year old would be thoughtful enough to think of others that are going through something most of us have never gone through. so today christina you are my HERO! i think that you are so awesome and i love your new hair cut!!!

okay min, sorry this has taken so long, this is for you. it seems like allan and i don't have a second of time to just chill and talk. so better late than never huh?

what is your dream job? hmmm, anything to do with video gaming. either playing, testing, producing, designing. really video games? yeah everyday at work it would be like you weren't at work.

what is your dream car? (eyebrows raised & laughing) if cost wasn't considered, a lamborgini murciealgo (sorry about the spelling) as far as practical any year of a trans am. and thats practical with a family? as far as cost wise, yeah. i am only moving me around!

what is your claim to fame? (shaking his head) i don't have one. i am your everyday, average, ordinary, good at everything, great at nothing.

what do you like to do? spending time with my kids (smiling). i like to play sports. oh whatever!!! i like playing video games, but never sport video games...unless its on the wii.

whats your biggest fear? umm...biggest fear is, to find myself in a situation that i can't provide for my family. awwwe!

what animal describes you? an otter! why? because they are playful, they are social, and like to take care of one another. that is not an animal that i would have guessed. hey, you think an otter is nice till you mess with one of its babies!

if you could live in any era, what would it be? right now! really? there is no better time to live than now. we have the most technology, medical knowledge, modern conviences like air conditioning. lives are so much eaiser then they used to be. i'd choose the future if i knew what was in the future.

ky was having so much fun blowing bubbles . she was laughing her head off. normally this activity brings smiles but the laughter that she was giving was a little unexpected.

flashback friday...

so okay this wasn't that long ago, but is was about 3 years. this is my twin sister steph(in the green), me, and my good friend daja. daja was living in california and steph and i decided to go and visit her. why this was such an awesome trip was not only did i get to see daj, but it was my first time on an airplane. can you believe it 24 and never been on a plane. my dad travels all over the united states so he had some frequent flyer miles that he was kind enough to let me and steph have. daja took us all over california to some of her fav spots. this is a club on i think sunset blvd. (correct me if i am wrong daj). it was really fun, totally crazy. it really showed me what a naive utahn i am.

yaaaah, wyatt didn't have one accident in his undies today. i am so dang excited i can't even tell you. he has hands down been so much harder to potty train than paxton was. everytime i would ask him if he needed to go, he would say "no, thanks". Me: your a big boy now lets go in the potty. Wyatt: no, me little. me need giaper. (yes, giaper with a "g"). today was a miracle, he didn't fight or argue with me at all. i finally told him we were out of diapers and that i was not going to get anymore. it seemed to work! i was such a proud mama that wyatt and i went to target and he got to pick out a new toy. he chose indiana jones legos. not because they are indiana jones (i don't think he has a clue who he is) but because they are motorcycles. and if you don't know wyatt he loves cars & motorcycles.

My dad and mom are so great! my mom called yesterday at like 4 saying that my dads work had reserved an entire theater for all their employees to watch the new indiana jones movie. each employee were only given 3 tickets but one of my dads guys weren't able to go so they had his. they were kind enough to think of us. allan wasn't able to get off work that early, but i found a babysitter for the wyatt and ky (thanks jenny) so that pax and i could go out for an evening. it was fun. the movie was good. there were some parts that i thought were a little cheesy but all in all it was a fun show. pax loved it. i didn't know if i wanted him seeing it without me or his dad previewing it first, but it was okay! i don't know if i would pay to see it again (oh wait i didn't pay this time :))

so this is fair warning to all of you who come to my house that it is not going to be in perfect form. i am tired of always freaking out cuz the house is a mess and people are coming over that i spend all extra time i have frantically cleaning that i don't get to enjoy my kids as much as i could be!

today i decided to make homemade choc chip cookies. its the best receipe i have ever found. its from my friend brenda (thanks bren!) so ky was going crazy when i was scooping them out on the cookie sheet, she wanted some so bad. so when the first batch came out she got the first one. she loved it. i wasn't sure that she would do very good with a whole cookie, but she was a monster. i don't know much cuter than a baby face covered in food! (notice the crazy hair do she has going on? we attempted pig tails for the first time yesterday. they looked good when we first did them, but this is after a full night sleep and a nap this morning..she is still so cute though!!!)

so we had an awesome time at the dino park today. My sis, steph (in the black tank top), her son kade (in the plaid shirt), my good friend danielle (in navy blue), her son sam (green stroller), me and my kids, and wah-ha becky (that is what my little wyatt calls grandma-she is not pictured..she took it!). the weather was perfect not too hot, with a slight breeze. Sam was so excited to see the dinosaurs. it was so fun to watch all of his cute facial expressions. wyatt was a little nervous of the animated dinosaurs, every time the t-rex would growl wyatt would cover his ears. it was a great day. i am so glad that we ended up getting a season pass this january. at the time i wasn't sure how much we would use it, but it has been good. i love getting out and doing activities with my kids. they are so much better behaved when we are not at home...why is that?

they love the three-horn and t-rex the best. we ended up buying little three-horn and t-rex figures that they could paint. of course that is the first thing we did when they walked in the front door. paxton had to make sure to paint the t-rex's mouth red cuz "him was eating blood."

I always feel like a chicken with my head cut off. there is never enough time in the day to get all the things done that need to be. today has been one of those days....this morning i woke to my house in a total mess, it looked like a bomb went off. i just haven't had a second to get unpacked & get laundry done since we came home. then i did my bro-in-laws haircut, and then i had to mow the lawn...yes mow. i have never had to mow a lawn until i was married, what is up with that. anyway, we had to borrow my in-laws lawn mower because last fall (i am guessing) my dear sweet little wyatt decided that he would be a gem and fill our lawn mowers gas tank with sand and leaves from his sand box. what a nice present he left for us to discover this spring. allan has been working so mucht that he hasn't had a second to take the gas tank off and clean it out, so hence the need to borrow. i must say that my skills at lawn care are improving! next i has another hair appt. my dear sweet pam! i love it when i get to do her hair, it just doesn't feel like work! can i just tell you how dang cute it turned out. i mean, i am always aiming for that goal, but sometimes i surprise myself. then came a game of dodgeball. it was totally awesome. we lost but had a blast doing it. only three more games untill the next season starts. so all in all it has been a busy day. hopefully tomorrow will be more calm. i don't know though we are going to the dino park. should be fun.

oh yeah, ky is climbing up the stairs now. it is freakin' me out. i just know she is going to tumble down backwards one of these days. wow time is flying by. she is going to be one next month. it is strange to me how fast time is going when all i want to do is make it stop, take every moment in just a little bit longer. i didn't really ever feel this way with the boys, it was always i can't wait untill they do this or that. they were always discovering new things and it was so fun. i guess i am feeling this way cuz i know she is my last baby. there just isn't enough time with her being little. time is one crazy thing!

we had a BlAst in aRizONa! the first day we got there we had a celebration BBQ for cARrie. it was alot of fun meeting all of her close friends. While there we went to the pHX zOo. itwas aWeSOmE we ended up going to the zoo for two days because there was so much to do and see. it is a really BeaUTIfUl zoo. it was so green that it really surprised me...very tropical! I think that the boys' fav animal was a hUgE iguana that we prob have 20 picts of.



kYSa hated the swimming pool. she was so upset that she was in there. Carrie did all the dIrtY WoRK of holding her, so then the rest of the trip ky had a little grUdGe against carrie and would not go to her for anything.

the BOys loved the pool. they asked everyday if they could go and swim. aunt carrie bought them a PrESenT everyday of the week and two of the days they got swim toys. they had a BLaSt!

All in all we had a gReaT tIMe and were really sad to go. Allan lOvED it so much he is trying to convince me that we need to MoVE there. at first i thougt it was just talk but he even went aroung looking at houses. i don't know what will come of it...i will keep you posted! cArRIe and GaRY were awesome hosts and cOUsIn SaBRe was so great to play with the boys and give up her room to them. Thanks Sab! we are definately going to plan on going to arizona again real soon!

so i really haven't forgot about my blog, i have been so super busy. we are getting ready to go to arizona in the morning. allans sis (Carrie w/hubby gary) is graduating from law school and we are going to go see her. the boys are so dang excited. this is their first out of state trip! dont' know how excited i am for the 12 hour drive. i am sure the dvd player is going to be worn out by the time we are back home.
it has been about 5mo since i saw carrie. she comes to visit me in january every year. this year gary came along with her. it was awesome. when she comes all we don't is eat, sleep, scrapbook! there isn't another time that i complete more then when carrie is here.
Congrats Carrie on Graduating. you are amazing and we love you so much. can't wait to see you tomorrow!

Dodgin' for Balls
for all of you who don't know, i am on a dodgeball team. can i just tell you how FrEakIn' aWesOMe it is. so tonight i had a game, and we won. i am so pumped that i can't go to bed and it is already 12:35 am. i am going to be hating it in the morning. i have to do hair at 8am. so back to my game, we played a team that were down right mean. they had 13 players show up, we had 8. they had some guns on them...those balls were flying like rockets. but when all was said and done we won 7 to 6. vIcTOry feels AwsOMe! if you ever want to check out a game let me know. it would be a great family night activity :)

a little about myself...allan (my man)and i met our senior year in high school in drama. we dated for about 8 months before he left on his mission to sweden. i wrote him the two+ years that he was gone. when allan came home we continued our whirl wind romance by gettting engaged 2 weeks after he got home and getting married 6 weeks later. i now have been married to my wonderful husband for 6 1/2 years, we have 3 awesome (most days) kids- pAXtOn 5, wyAtT 3, and KysA 10mo. i am a stay at home mom, but i occasionally cut hair. there really isn't anything too unique about my life. it is what it is, but i love it and i wouldn't change a thing! life is good!
