Christmas Day...wyatt playing with his new DS game. i think it was transformers.
paxton showing off his new bionicle. (its a lego thing...)

kysa playing peek-a-boo.
Christmas was such a nice day. it is the first Christmas since allan and i have been married that we didn't have to go anywhere. everyone came to us. allan's parents came by in the morning and visisted with us for a little while. then later in the afternoon my family came over. it was so fun. we had a yummy dinner of ham, funeral potaoes, rolls and pie. yuuuummy! we all opened our gifts, and everyone got spoiled rotten.
we hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas. we are so thankful for all of you who have touched our lives in so many ways. We are BLESSED! we hope that you all have a very happy and safe new years. love, the Ronnow's
Christmas Morning....the kids slept in....can you believe it?! they didn't get out of bed until 7:30, and if any of you know my kids that is considered sleeping in! here they are getting ready to open their santa gifts. they were so excited!
Paxton showing some of the treasures he found in is stocking! it is a voice recorder that warps whatever you say into it! both paxton and wyatt got one, and let me just tell you what a hit they are!
Hooray, wyatt got some pokemon cards in his stocking. what a good Santa! he knows exactly what the boys love!
Kysa posing with her new pink purse. she was shoving everything she could into it. it was filled with keys, chapstick, sunglasses, a cell phone and wallet. what a girly girl she is becoming.

Temple Square...
i love love love temple square at Christmas time. the temple all aglow and the twinkling christmas lights everywhere. although i remember as a child that there used to be so many more lights then they have now. it is a tradition in my family (as well as most of yours, i am sure) to visit temple square each Christmas. time was running out this year and i wasn't sure we were going to make it. thank heavens, we did. we went the day before christmas eve. well, almost all of utah must have had the same idea. it was so crazy packed, i could not believe it. i have never seen it so busy. it had snowed earlier that day so everything was glistening. it was so beautiful. there is nothing better then temple square to remind you of the true meaning of Christmas!
Here is my family all bundled up to keep warm. this is the same tree that we pose in front of every year. it is so beautiful. this picture doesn't do it justice!
Me and my kiddos. allan had to work so he was not able to go with us.

pax and dub. there was this girl out on the street playing beautiful music on her violin. papa perry gave the boys $5 to go and put in her violin case. in return she gave them both a candy cane.
Kysa all cozy in the stroller. everytime i took her picture she gave me the most darling "cheese", but her eyes were closed in every single one of them. i think that the flash was just a little too bright in the dark of night!

Super days are Snowy days.....at least for my kids!
the kids could hardly wait when the snow let up enough for them go outside and play in all the wonderful, glorious, beautiful, untouched snow. first finding all the snow gear was quite the task. if fact, most of it is still not found, but not having proper attire was not going to stop boys.

of course the minute that paxton and wyatt saw that red, kasie and mia where outside, off to their house they forged. (picture: Mia, Wyatt and Paxton)

kysa wanted to get in on all the action. she had her first taste of snow. she didn't really care for it, but she was still all smiles.

wyatt was being red's little helper on making the snow fort. wyatt just didn't understand that the snow red was shoveling out, wasn't supposed to go back in the fort. (notice his nice battle wound?)
paxton is always the best to flash me a smile when i say "Cheese." he was having a ball and didn't want to go in the house when the sun started to go down. we didn't get to making our snowman, but i promised that we have tomorrow. side note: so when we got home and were taking off all of our snow gear, paxton unzipped his coat to reveal that he was bare-chested. thats right folks no shirt on under the coat! what a terd!

and finally the snow fort that red made for the kids. they loved it. we had to keep reminding a few of the "special" kids (mine) that the fort was not for climbing on but for going in. we had a great time in the snow. thanks for playing with us Kasie, red and mia! you guys are great neighbors!

What once was lost...now is found!
yeahhhh, i found my camera. i knew once i threatened that i was going to go buy a new one, it would magically appear! actually i was cleaning out the coat closet and found in a old bag that a few weeks ago ky had been dragging around....hhmmm, i wonder who would have put my camera in that little bag of hers!

so here is a picture of our christmas tree. it was bought a few years ago at an after christmas sale for $30 bucks. it has been the best little tree ever. we love it. the best thing is no more stringing my own lights....pre-lit baby. its the way to go.
here are the kidlets getting ready for church this morning. poor allan had to get all three kids ready and out the door all by himself. i know what all you moms out there are thinking, cuz i think it too..."i get the kids all ready and out the door all by myself all the time." i know it is good for allan to do this not so little task. i really think it makes him apreciate that he doesn't have to do it ALL THE TIME. he is such a good husband. i am very lucky.

of course all three kids are in their be-nothings, cuz i didn't want them to get dirty before church started. 1 o'clock church is the worst. yeah, it is good for me to finish my singing time material, but trying to get the kids fed, clothed and napped all before church is quite the task.

i stand corrected....thanks min!

so i was informed today that just because little blue (my camera) is missing, doesn't mean that i can't post. so here goes a picture-less post. i want you to know how hard this is for me!

with Christmas just around the corner i have been thinking alot about all those last minute things that you know need to get done, but wonder how you are going to squeeze one more thing into an already jam packed day. tuesday night we started taking around all our neighbor gifts, which was quite the feat with the boys wanting to jump out of the car (before we had stoped mind you) and race to the doors of our unsuspecting neighbors. there were a few slips and a few more bumps and bruises, but fortunatly the home-made jam made it to the doors intact!
yesterday we made the drive to cache valley for my brothers christmas program. it was so cute and touching. just picture 100+ handicapped and disabled kids and adults, all clad in santa hats, rudolph antlers, elf ears, singing their little hearts out to all the christmas classics. it was so touching. if that doesn't get you in the christmas spirit, i don't know what would. My brother, Nate played Blitzen. How fun!!!
More updates on christmas fun from the ronnow household yet to come......(hopefully with some photographic proof!)

Our Family Picture....So we finally got new family pictures taken. it has been so long since we have gotten them done. i think the last time was when ky was a new born. i know horrible huh? Brooke (allan's cousins wife) did such a good job, especially because kysa was so crabby. the boys have never smiled so well for anyone before. i don't think there was one shot of them that i didn't like. thanks so much brookers, you did an amazing job!

how cute
