south ogdens parade watchers-

so i can't believe how fast time is flying by. it has been forever since i have typed. lets see if i can fill you in.... wednesday we went to the south ogden parade. it was a lot of fun. the boys had a great time hanging out with their "new cousins" (this is what paxton and wyatt call allans cousins kids). little ashley told me that when we were at her house on tuesday that she and wyatt kissed, because they "lobe each other" (yes lobe with a b). i had to explain to wyatt that we shouldn't be kissing anyone especially not our new cousins!

posing at the logan temple- thursday i spent the entire day helping out at my aunt and uncles house to get ready for my cousin codys wedding reception that was to be held on friday. friday was a crazy day, it started at 4:30am. i did cody's fiances hair for their wedding. it was so freakin early, but her hair turned out beautiful. i would wake up again just for you robyn! then after robyn left i tried to keep my eyes open but i just couldn't do it. so i woke up late and had to rush to the logan temple. it was such a beautiful day to get married. i also go married in the logan temple but it was in february. so needless to say it was so dang cold. the boys thought that it was so cool that they were at jesus' house.

happy first birthday ky-can you believe that she is one! i sure can't. i had a really hard time with ky turning one. since she is my last baby i have really not been looking forward to this. i really want her to stay my baby. she is growing so fast. i love her and am so grateful that i get to be a mom to such a beautiful and precious little girl. happy birthday kysa. we haven't had a bday party yet, it is scheduled for this saturday. so i will have to post some pictures of the big event.

then on sunday we had a homecoming to go to. allans cousin/one of his best friends clint, came home from his mission to england. allan was so excited to see him. he would not have missed this for the world. life was not the same while clint was gone. welcome home clint!

today i was supposed to take ky to the doctors to get her 12 month shots. so i was getting ready, loading the diaper bag in the kitchen when i looked over at the calendar and saw that ky's appointment was at 10:15 not 10:40 like i had thought it was. so i look at the clock it says 10:17, i freak out, throw the kids in the car and head to roy to the doctors office. by the time i get there (dang construction on riverdale road) it is 10:35. i go up to the front desk, explain that i thought my appointment was at 10:40 and see if they can still get me in. well if you know my luck at all then you will know the answer that i got....no, the doctors were way too busy and over booked to try to fit me back in to the days schedule. so i had to make a new appointment for tomorrow. it again is at 10:15, hopefully i can't try not to be a spaz and make it there on time.

hAppY 31sT biRthDay!

today is my oldest brother nates birthday. birthdays are a really big deal to nate. we are reminded from the 1st day of june that his birthday is june 22, nobody can use the excuse that they forgot! we decided to go to mom and dads for a bbq for nate and shanes birthdays (shane is my bro-in-law). we had such a good time. the food was delish and the entertainment was awesome.stephanie got a bag of water balloons. there were 250 and we filled them all, with a few brakes here and there. we played water balloon volleyball. it was so much fun. the hardest part was trying to keep the kids from throwing them at each other...so needless to say our little game of volleyball turned into a huge water fight, but seriously can you have water balloons and not start a war?

our new favorite place.....
we went to the new park by our house on friday with mindy and her girls. we had such an awesome time, the boys have talked of nothing else but when we can go back. not only is it a park with a huge playground, but it has a splash pad (lots of water toys that spray, squirt, shoot). we spent almost four hours there! thanks min, we had a great time and can't wait to go again. if anyone wants to go let me know!!! here is a pic of mindys oldest lynn with paxton and wyatt.

What would summer be without friends?
at the beginning of the week we got a darling invite (made my our little friend tyla) to come to the jeffs' house for a swimming party. so naturally of course, the boys have talked of nothing else but when we get to go to the party. well today was the day. we had such a good time. the boys had so many friends to play with and we moms got a good visit. thanks so much for inviting us to come over and play camilla. we had a wonderful time and are so blessed to have such awesome neighbors. we for sure need to do it again!

isn't it such a girl thing to love a phone. well kysa has discovered that she loves them! whenever she finds one she holds it up to her ear and squaks. how is it that they learn this ability so early??? i really don't like it when the kids play with my cell phone, but i find myself giving in to her so often to hear and watch her play "phone". we have boughten many a fake phone, but how is it that they know? even an old cell phone that isn't working she won't use. she thought she was pretty sneaky getting the phone out of the diaper bag today, that i had to capture her on film.

Ode to my dad!
happy fathers day dad! thanks for being such a fun and loving dad growing up, for all the fun things you did with us. i still remember all the soccer games we refereed together, the camping trips, going on drives up the canyon. we are lucky to have a dad that loved to spend time with us. now my kids get to experience such a wonderful grand-FATHER! we love you and are so glad that you are our dad!

what can i say to really tell how i feel about the man who i love so much. he is the greatest dad, husband, provider, son, and friend. he is such a caring man especially to his family. he would do just about anything to help someone in need. he is very generous, kind, patient (especially with his family), supportive, loving, funny, just an all round joy to be married to.
thank you allan for all that you do for us, i know that life around here is not always the easiest, most fun, or calm by any means, but you always seem to take things in stride. i know that if we ever needed you, you would be there. thanks for always making me and the kids feel so loved and that we are numero uno! i love you thanks for being the daddy i always dreamed my kids would have!

tHerE iS nO pLacE liKe BeaR laKe!!!
we just got back from bear lake yesterday! we had an awesome time. it was freakishly cold weather, but we made the best of it. it is a good thing that papa perry brought up the wii so that the boys would have something fun to do while it stormed. i knew that the beginning of june wouldn't be warm enough to go into the lake, but i didn't expect hail and snow. i didn't know how to pack so i just thew in a bit of everything...needless to say we wore all of our winter clothes.
by the end of the week we were all pretty good at bowling and golf.

only in utah would we be crazy enough to get into a swimming pool at 55 degrees. granted the pool was heated, but the quick jaunt from the pool to the condo was really cold. here is ky in her cute bathing suit. it was the first time that she has been able to wear it...she didn't even get in the pool, even though we were crazy i didn't want her to catch her death! so let me just tell you about my scary moment while swimming, so me and my sis where in the hot tub, wyatt was sitting on the edge and steph (sis) asked me to re-tie her swim suit top. so while i was doing this wyatt jumped into the spa without anyone noticing. so i turn around and all i see is wyatt totally submersed in water with only the very tips of his out stretched hands. i freaked!!! i got to him and lifted him up. he was gasping and coughing so hard. luckily he hadn't been down for too long, but it was long enough to give us both a huge scare! needless to say we didn't leave eachothers sides the rest of the time swimming. i can't even tell you how crappy of a mom i felt i was. i was so guilty, especially seeing that fear and panic that was on his face. it is a look i will never forget!
our last night at bear lake we had to roast marshmellows and make smores. we hadn't done this since the first time we went to the condo four years ago. paxton loved it! he only ate one smore and decided that it was enough but he roasted many a more marshmellows after. ky loved the marshmellows and graham crackers. i know that smores is a traditional camping event and we weren't really "roughing it" but we had such a good time! thanks mom and dad, we always have such a good time when we go with you!

So, it has been a while since i last typed. things have been crazy. i feel like my life is not my own. i am sure you can all relate. i went to my parents house (in cache valley) for a couple of days. it was nice. i did my brothers girlfriends hair, went shopping with my mom...got some really cute scrapbook paper and some new flip flops, cuz you can never have enough pairs of flip flops. the boys were dying for their papa to take them out on the 4-wheelers but it rained the entire time we were there. so maybe next time. we are looking forward to another saturday at lagoon. it is my dads work lagoon day so the whole fam is going to be there...fun times! ky has almost mastered the stairs. this is just one more thing that she is doing that shows me that she is getting too big. she is going to be a year at the end of the month. any ideas for a really cute 1st birthday????
