a day of crafts...
so i spent the day with my friend kasie. we made our little girls their halloween costumes. ky is going to be a witch, (her hat isn't finished yet). but didn't her dress turn out so cute? i am so happy with it. kasie's little girl mia is going to be a cave girl. her dress is soooo cute too. you can see pictures of it if you go to her blog (on my friends list under kasie and red).


this is a tutu onesie that i made for my friends new little girl aspyn. i haven't got to see her yet, but i will take pictures when i do.

its what fun is....LAGOON!
we went to lagoon for the evening today with mindy, merrill and girls. we had so much fun. the weather was fantastic, it couldn't have been a better night out! i love getting the boys together with mindys girls, they all get along so well. we never have to referee them. i don't know what we are going to do when paxton and lynn start kindergarten...they are on different schedules, paxton in the morning and lynn in the afternoon! gosh min, what were you thinkin?

i know i know it has been like forever since i have last posted anything. you all know how it goes during the summertime. life is seeming to calm down just a bit so here you are...all the posts that i have been meaning to do for the last couple of weeks. enjoy!

i love that my boys are so close in age. i didn't know that there would ever be a time that i would say that. especially when they were both so little and i was trying to figure out how to divide my time. i am glad that they love doing things together. don't get me wrong they for sure have their moments of wyatt trying to go and do everything paxton does and paxton freaking out that wyatt won't leave him be. but at the end of the day they are brothers and you can tell that they really love eachother!

bear lake 2nd trip
there is nothing better in the summer then to spend the day at bear lake. we absolutely love it we don't need any fancy toys to enjoy ourselves...just give us some buckets, shovels, floaties and some stale bread.....

education week @ byu idaho
so i had the most fun at education week. i have been going every summer since i was 14 (with the exception of the two summers that i had new babies). it was a much needed time away with the girls. i was really feeling the weight of life on my shoulders, and education week provided the strength that i was looking for. it was so nice to listen to such inspirational speakers. we went to so many different classes, some were about: strengthening your marriage, the second coming, studying the scriptures, finding joy in life, and much more. needless to say i left feeling recharged and ready to be a better mom, wife, and chuch member. if you have never been it is so worth the trip. they also do it in provo. even if you can only go for a day, do it! you won't regret it!

me, ryker, steph, and sharee (rykers mom). she and her husband live in idaho falls. we met up one night and went to dinner at applebees. it was so fun to see sharee again, it is never enough.
the new rexburg temple. i really wanted to go and do a session, but we just ran out of time. i will for sure make it a point to do one next summer!

all in all the trip was amazing! i had so much fun...even sleeping on the 3rd floor of the mens dorms! i can't wait for next year.

this is ky's first attempt at eating a icecream cone all by herself! she dripped most of it on the sidewalk, but being a girl who loves her food she didn't want it to go to waste so she started licking it of the pavement...ewww gross! i can't believe how big she is getting!!!
